Extensions typically last up to 4 weeks but we recommend infills every 2–3 weeks to keep them looking full and fresh. If you decide to wear them continuously which many clients do, it is essential to have regular infill appointments for your lash health. Eyelash extensions grow out with your natural lash and can add excess weight if not removed and maintained at an infill appointment.

The most common reasons are oil-based skincare or makeup touching the lash line, exposure to steam or water in the first 24 to 48 hours after application, sleeping face-down, and rubbing the eyes. Lash extensions applied to a lash that was already near the end of its natural growth cycle will also shed sooner. Lash extensions applied correctly by a trained technician will not damage your natural lashes. The key is that each extension must be applied to one natural lash only, using the correct weight and length for your natural lash's strength. In London, the most popular styles are Classic (one extension per natural lash for a natural look), Wispy (a mix of lengths for a feathery, textured finish), Hybrid (a blend of classic and volume), Russian Volume (multiple ultra-fine extensions per lash for a fluffy, full look), and Wet Look (extensions styled to give a glossy, mascara-like finish). Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic lashes applied on top of your natural lashes using semi-permanent adhesive. A lash lift is a treatment applied to your own lashes only — it curls and lifts them from the root using a chemical perming and setting solution, with results lasting up to 8 weeks. Extensions add length, thickness, and curl; a lash lift enhances what you already have. Extensions require infills every 2 to 3 weeks; a lash lift needs no maintenance between appointments. Wet Look lashes are extensions bundled together during application to create a glossy, mascara-dipped finish. Instead of a fluffy or feathery result, they give a sleek, defined, dramatic look — like your lashes are permanently coated in fresh mascara. This style is one of our specialties and suits clients who want bold, editorial definition.

In London, lash extensions range from approximately £60 to £200 for a full set, depending on the style, salon, and technician's experience. Infills typically cost £40 to £100. Look: Natural, mascara-like effect. Technique: One extension per natural lash (1:1 ratio). Best for: A simple, polished look or those with plenty of natural lashes that want to add subtle length and definition.

Look: A mix of natural and full, adding texture and a bit more drama. Technique: Combines classic (single lash) and volume (multiple lash) methods. Best for: A fuller look that still appears fairly natural. Suitable for every day wear.

Look: Textured, feathery, and spiky—similar to a strip-lash style. Technique: Can be created with classic, hybrid, or volume sets using varied lengths and “spikes” for a wispy effect. Best for: A trendy, eye-catching look with lots of texture.

Look: Full, fluffy, and dramatic yet soft. Technique: Very fine lashes (2–6D fans) handmade and applied to each natural lash. Best for: Clients with fewer natural lashes wanting a dense, glamorous look.

Look: The boldest, darkest, and most dramatic style. Technique: Ultra-fine extensions (0.03–0.05 mm) forming large fans (6–16D+) per natural lash. Best for: A statement look with maximum fullness.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and avoid using oily products around your eyes before your treatment. Use the toilet beforehand and if you want to, put your headphones on and relax!

A lash map is a custom placement plan drawn before your appointment begins. We assess your eye shape, facial structure, natural lash length and density, and your desired style, then mark out which curl, length, and diameter to place at each zone of your eye. This is how we ensure every set is bespoke and flattering rather than a standard one-size application.

Foxy eye extensions use L and M curl lashes placed with concentration at the outer corner of the eye to create a lifted, elongated, angular silhouette. Booking an appointment is easy! Use our online booking system on our website or contact us directly by phone or message. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot.

Appointments require a 50% deposit at booking, with the remainder payable on the day. Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance to avoid losing your deposit. If you do not show up on the day without notice or cancel within 4 hours of your appointment then you will be charged a 100% no-show fee. A full new set takes anywhere from 90-120 minutes depending on the style chosen. Infill appointments take 45-60 minutes. We ask that you arrive with clean lashes, no eye makeup, and no contact lenses. Lash lifts take up to 1 hour.

Yes, we recommend first-time clients at Envy Lashes London to book a free patch test at least 48 hours before their appointment. A small amount of adhesive is applied behind the ear or applied directly to your lashes. Clients with a history of skin sensitivity, hay fever, or previous lash-adhesive reactions should always patch test.
